HASA

HASA is the Home and School Association of St. Bernard School. It is made up of all parents/guardians of St. Bernard students along with the school faculty and staff. Meetings are scheduled every other month generally beginning in September. Sometimes, an early meeting is held in August. Meetings are held in Zahn Hall (basement of the school) and child care is provided.

The purpose of HASA is to provide open communication between the school and the parents/guardians as well as to encourage unity among parents, guardians, and school/faculty.

HASA raises funds for school needs, academics, scholarships and school activities. Some examples of HASA's efforts include a mobile computer lab, art supplies, new playground equipment, security system, contributions to the parking lot re-pavement and kitchen updates. Monies are continually being raised for the scholarship fund to help lower the cost of tuition per student.

Why is it important to attend HASA Meetings?

  • To have the opportunity to meet other parents
  • Provide input on decisions regarding fundraisers and other key school activities
  • Assist with decisions that affect your child's educational experience
