Inclement Weather

The safety of students and staff is a primary concern during inclement weather. The following radio and television stations will broadcast school cancellations and/or delays due to inclement weather. St. Bernard School generally follows the closures and delays of Wabash City Schools.

Radio stations:

On your FM dial:  95.9 WKUZ;  105.9 OLDIES 106;  106.9 WXXC;  98.5;  and Z92.5

On your AM dial:  860 WMRI;  1350 WIOU

T.V. stations:

News Channel 15;  21 ALIVE;  NBC 33 (Fort Wayne)

The 2-hour delay schedule is as follows:

1 hr delay: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (All Day Pre-K & Grades K-6);  9 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Morning Pre-K)

2 hr delay: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (All Day Pre-K & Grades K-6); NO SCHOOL (Morning Pre-K)

Early dismissal due to rapidly changing weather is determined by the principal.

Please listen to the radio or television whenever there is snow, ice or questionable weather. Please do NOT call the school or leave your child at school until it's been determined whether or not school is open.
